You know a recipe is good when you go back to it again and again and eventually the recipe becomes etched in your head (does everyone have one of these?) and I think this could be that for me!

This cake looked a bit more impressive than the last one and plenty of people have asked how I decorated it…well here is my secret… Using a palette knife I held it in the centre and the swirled the cake stand around to make a swirl on the top.
